Abstract: | The purposes of the study about the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, food consumption behaviors and the nutritional status of staffs food delivery in the province of Chiang Mai were to study about the relationship between the nutritional knowledge, attitudes about food consumption behaviors and food consumption behaviors with the nutritional status of staff delivery and study about the nutritional status, the nutritional knowledge, food consumption attitudes and staffs food delivery’s food consumption behaviors, Chiang Mai. The study's sample population consists of 264 peoples that deliver food to customers in the Mueang Chiang Mai district on a regular basis. Data gathering through the use of a questionnaire, for data analysis using Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation. Pearson's correlation coefficient and Chi-square found that most of the participants were in normal nutritional condition (48.9%). Low level of nutritional knowledge (67.4 %). A poor attitude toward food consumption (44.3 %) and the degree of food consumption behaviors weren't appropriate (83.0 %). When analyzing the relationship knowledge, food consumption attitudes and food consumption behaviors with the nutritional status of staff food delivery found that knowledge, food consumption attitudes and food consumption behaviors were unrelated with the nutritional status of staff food delivery. When analyzing the relationship between personal information with the nutritional knowledge found that source of the data or information from family members, friends and relative about food knowledge and nutrition. Family’s economic situation, Medical rights and the daily work hours had a statistically significant relationship with nutritional awareness. And the relationship between personal information and food consumption attitudes found that sex, smoking, Education level, the number of daily main meals consumed and source of the data or information on food knowledge and a statistically significant relationship between food consumption attitudes and nutrition gained from radio and television. And the relationship between personal information and food consumption behaviors found that religion, where to get food at a mall or store, sources of news or information on food knowledge and nutrition obtained from radio or television. A statistically significant relationship between family’s economic situation and food consumption behaviors. The results of this study can serve as suggestions for future research and the promotion of nutritional health among food delivery personnel. The results of this study can be used as guidelines for future research and to promote nutritional health in a way that is appropriate for those working in food delivery. |
